Tried this place for the first time today and loved it!!! I had the Poke bowl with raw tuna and salmon loaded with veggies and fresh greens lightly tossed in Eel sauce and it was super delicious!!!! Paired it with their awesome pinappple Kombucha tea�� Hubby had the fried pork belly on rice and was super impressed how crispy yet tender it was. So much flavor! We finished our plates and they were good sized! We'll Definitely be going back...I have my eye on that yummy marrow dish they serve. Service was great and they were super nice with answering any questions we had about menu items. Highly recommend!!

As a local restaurant owner, I appreciate the details and hard work that go into providing great service and delicious food. I walked into Kanto and was warmly greeted by the staff. Before making it up to the counter and reviewing the menu, this already set the tone for a great experience. I was able to try two appetizers, the Lumpia and Pork BBQ. The sauce on the Lumpia was delicious and the Pork BBQ was great, the onion garnish was a tasty garnish with the skewered meat. I ordered Plate 9 that included 2 skewers of beef bbq and a delicious pancit. I like texture in my food and the light crunch of the vegetables and crushed peanuts with the pancit was great. Th Halo Halo for dessert was the best way to finish my meal. The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious and Paulo and his staff were so inviting and kind. Wonderful people/restaurant and I can’t wait to go back. Great job, guys!

Kanto Filipino BBQ is such a Corpus Christi gem! Amazing food and service! The classic lumpia does not disappoint to start your meal off strong! The BBQ plate is an absolute treat, taste 4 kinds of meat and order a side of rice for an amazing meal! All for a incredible deal close to any Corpus Christi location. Top it off with warm bread pudding! Super delish. Amazing food, fabulous presentation, and an even better staff. Can’t wait to go again!
